The Winter Spice Snickerdoodles are loosely based on a snickerdoodle from Whole Foods that my sister and I are obsessed with. If you want to eat a cookie that tastes like sleigh rides and fluffy snow falling and crackling fires, I’ve got you covered with this recipe. ⁣

Ever heard of allspice? Meet your new favorite holiday ingredient.

Let me tell you, my sister and I spent YEARS trying to figure out what made the Whole Foods Snickerdoodles taste like holiday magic, before she cracked the code: allspice. Did you know? Allspice can actually be found in every corner of the world with unique names in over 50 languages. Allspice is actually another name for a Jamaican Pepper Plant. The dried, unripe berries of this plant provide amazing anti-inflammatory properties. So yes, these Winter Spice Snickerdoodles have incredible health benefits, in addition to tasting like holiday cheer!

Using an allspice base instead of cinnamon will conjure up all of your warm winter memories in every bite.⁣
