Turmeric Grapefruit Ginger Spritz Mocktail

  • 3/4 cup water⁣
  • 2 white tea bags⁣
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons honey + more for rim ⁣
  • 1 large or 2 small grapefruit, ideally organic⁣
  • a palmful fine grain sea salt ⁣
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 can grapefruit sparkling water ⁣


  1. Boil the water and add the tea bags. Steep for 2 minutes, then remove and squeeze out bags. Stir in turmeric and honey and put it in the fridge to cool.⁣
  2. Zest the grapefruit onto a plate. Mix it with a palmful of salt— really rub it together to distribute the oils in the zest.
  3. Drizzle more honey on a plate and roll rim of a glass in it. Use your finger to spread a thin layer down the top half of the outer glass. Roll the glass into the grapefruit salt mixture.⁣
  4. Juice grapefruit into to a large jar, Add 1 cup of grapefruit juice, apple cider vinegar, and the tea mixture. Add ice and shake. ⁣
  5. Add ice to glasses. Add the tea/juice mixture until about 3/4 of the way full. Top it with sparkling water.
