Hey, friend. My name is Liz Moody, and I believe that wellness and healthy food can and should be a tool to enhance your life—not limit it.  I believe in the power of meditation, and the power of a bottle of wine, shared with friends on a balmy summer evening. I believe in the power of foods to heal and nourish your body, but I also think that a good pasta carbonara can serve as a salve for your soul. I believe in filtering my water, and enjoying my croissants. Think of it as a “have your (protein packed, grain free) cake, and eat it, too” approach to health.

I’m the author of two healthy cookbooks: Healthier Together: Recipes for Two–Nourish Your Body, Nourish Your Relationships and  Glow Pops.  A longtime writer, editor, and healthy recipe developer, I formerly served as food director for mindbodygreen, a leading wellness website, where I lead the content strategy for the food section, wrote and edited articles, and produced and developed video for the site (catch my series, A Little Bit Healthier, here!).  

I’m currently the contributing food editor for mindbodygreen, and my work has been featured in goop, Glamour, Vogue, Women’s Health, and many more.  

I also host the hit wellness podcast, Healthier Together, which features intimate interviews with some of the biggest names in the wellness world.

A regular speaker, panelist, and podcast guest, I regularly share the real deal on the trends of the wellness world, as well as my deeply personal anxiety journey.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, and went to high school and college in California, where I created my own major at UC Berkeley (because, well, Berkeley) before graduating with honors. As a syndicated newspaper columnist, I spent years living in destinations as far-flung as Buenos Aires, Berlin, and London before settling in Brooklyn with my  husband, Zack, and our ornery cat, Bella.
