What My Nose Job Was REALLY Like—Recovery Struggles, My Biggest Regrets, How Much It Cost, and More

Today is all about my nose job! I’m 3 weeks out from surgery, and I wanted to share with you all of the normally not-talked about details. I invited Zack on to get his view on taking care of me, plastic surgery and more, and I also answered all of YOUR questions. We talk about:

  • Why I decided to get a nose job
  • How I chose a good doctor
  • How I prepped for surgery
  • What no one shares about recovery
  • The most useful things I bought that helped me get through the first few weeks
  • How much it cost
  • What Zack thought about me getting plastic surgery, how loopy I was when I woke up from anesthesia, my face looking crazy, and more
  • My thoughts on plastic surgery both for aesthetic and functional purposes
  • The regrets I have
  • and so much more!

This episode is sponsored by Pique Tea. I LOVE their Ginger Digestion Elixir, the Mint Herbal and the Hibiscus Beauty Elixir. I’m also OBSESSED with their Daily Radiance Liposomal Vitamin C and their matcha is one of the best around. Pique is currently offering an exclusive bundle which includes their Sun Goddess Matcha, Pique Glass Beaker, and two limited time offer bonus gifts: a handheld frother and detox book worth $45, for FREE. You can also get an additional 5% off on the bundle OR anything else on piquetea.com/lizmoody using my code LIZMOODY.

This episode is sponsored by Seed, the makers of one of my all-time favorite supplements. Their Seed Daily Synbiotic is a game changer—it contains both pre- and probiotics, survives INTACT all the way into your gut, AND contains the most studied and powerful strains of probiotics out there. You can get 15% off of your first month’s supply of Seed’s Daily Synbiotic by going to seed.com and using the code LIZMOODY.

This episode is sponsored by Paleovalley, who make incredibly high quality supplements. If you’d like to check out their Turmeric Complex, Vitamin C, Neuroeffect, or any of Paleovalley’s other amazing products, head over to paleovalley.com and use the code LIZM for 15% off.

This episode is sponsored by Airocide, the makers of the air purifier that single handedly eliminated my allergies. You can get $600 off any of the air purifiers on their website by using my code LIZ600 on Airocide.com. I personally have the APS-200 PM 2.5, but they just released the Aria, which is even cuter and has an even lower price point, so that’s probably what I’d go for!

  1. Ben says:

Hi Liz – I have a revision septorhinoplasty scheduled with Sam Most in September, so I enjoyed hearing about your experience on the podcast! I was curious – did your breathing ultimately improve? I know in the podcast you mentioned your breathing wasn’t all that great, and I was curious if that improved over time. Thank you!

    1. Liz Moody says:

      Hey Ben,

That’s really exciting! Yes, my breathing definitely did improve! I’d say I’m not at 100%, but it improved by a LOT.

      xo, Liz
